OCEANSIDE, CA – Today, Assemblywoman Laurie Davies hosted a ceremony to honor the first responders who tirelessly work to keep the community safe.
Guests honored at the event included 911 dispatchers, law enforcement agencies, fire departments, crisis response organizations and residents from Camp Pendleton, Vista, Oceanside and Fallbrook.
“Bravery is what distinguishes first responders from the rest of us. As we leave danger, they run towards it. When we retreat, they stand on the front lines. It’s important to honor and thank the men and women who put it all on the line and protect our communities,“ said Assemblywoman Davies (R- Orange County).
First responders make sacrifices on behalf of the community every day without hesitation. Whether it’s responding to accidents and crime or a pandemic like COVID-19, their service does not go unnoticed.
