Assemblywoman Davies Announces Oceanside-Based Ivey Ranch Park as Winner of Nonprofit of the Year

Organization Has Helped Disabled Children and Adults for More Than 45 Years.

Oceanside, CA – Assemblywoman Laurie Davies revealed today that Ivey Ranch Park Association, a nonprofit based in Oceanside, was awarded “Nonprofit of the Year” for District 74. The organization, started in 1981, serves children and adults with and without disabilities, helping them to achieve a better quality of life through care, education and equine assisted services.

“I am honored to recognize Ivey Ranch Park as the district’s Nonprofit of the Year,” stated Davies. “This award is significant due to the dozens of outstanding organizations under consideration. Ivey Ranch Park has helped numerous Oceanside and greater San Diego County residents achieve a better quality of life. It is the ultimate achievement and I am proud to represent them in District 74.”

Ivey Ranch Park is unique because it provides both educational and recreational services to individuals with special needs. Tonya Danielly, Executive Director, and members of her team attended a luncheon in Sacramento with Assemblywoman Davies and Nonprofit of the Year representatives from other districts.
