The California Department of Justice recently shared that personal information was disclosed on their Firearms Dashboard Portal.
The release of private and personal information of individual firearm owners in California including California Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) permit holders is totally unacceptable.
There must be a full investigation. The results of this investigation should be made public, and protocols must be put in place to ensure this does not happen ever again.
The mishandling of private information affects many Californians and residents right here in AD 73, including victims of domestic violence or criminal threats, judges, and law enforcement officers. This data breach is a violation of state law.
