Sacramento Democrats are at it again! This time, pushing for another increase on the gasoline tax – beginning July 1st. This is all happening as California experiences a budget surplus of nearly $100 billion dollars. This tax increase will put an additional $500 million into that excessive reserve.
For the past 100 days, Republicans leaders have been calling for the temporary suspension of the gas tax – providing immediate and long term relief to Californians.
These tax increases are a direct attack on the middle class and the lower income residents of our state! It’s time to move forward with common-sense solutions focused on improving the livelihood of ALL Californians.
